Well the flowers seem to have done OK while you have been away for 3 months, I am wondering how the weeds got on! The Hydrangers certainly are a lovely colour of blue!

The weeds also did well while we were away but weren't as bad as I expected them to be. A few more pics - A fairy nest - Fairies flying away - This hollyhock looks like it has ears or horns ;D - A lovely clump of ferns -

The Mexican Petunias and the Yucca look lovely, my petunias, well they looked sick for a long time but 2 of them that I had planted into a deep pot seem to be taking OK and look a bit healthier as far as I can tell. The other 3 went into a window box and didn't look as if they were taking so I repotted the whole window box into a larger container and they haven't had time to settle yet so too early to say but they might still be alive. However I am still optimistic at this stage that they will all take and thank you!

My mex petunias are coming along slowly, greening up still and getting rooted.
The Flamboyant tree seed germinated today though.

Wow! that went quick, Pete! Fingers crossed that you get a lovely little tree so show us next year.
I planted some in both the garden and in a pot in Florida, think I mentioned that Peter put his straight into a pot after soaking them, like you do. Nothing had come of them when we left. I did plant another lot, this time from the same batch as yours, so perhaps they have done something by now as well.

Oh they look great, my Fuschia flowers don't look all that healthy this year, perhaps the plant is getting too old. Mine is at least 10 years old, how long do they last?

This one must be at least 15, if not 20 years old. Perhaps yours only needs repotting? Do you prune it back every year before you bring it into the greenhouse for the winter?
No idea of how long they last, probably depends on where they are and how they are treated. I'm sure there are some really old ones in parks, etc.

It is the plant that is next the Johnson's Blue that you thought sometime ago was something different. Perhaps I should have watered it then.................... ;D

Just now trying to catch up a bit with things. Everything is looking so lush Sis. I love the fairies and the Mexican Petunia looks fantastic next to the double dark pink Geranium. Lucky you having your Yucca blooming ... I've never seen the flowers close up. A lovely shot of the Hydrangea (something ate mine at the roots this year) and another stunning Daisy shot and good colour on the Salvia.
All looks superb!

Thanks DAG and Sis. DAG, you will never let me forget that, will you? ;D Why didn't you say it was the Mint Fuchsia next to the Johnson Blue, then I would have known. ;D
