Another lovely show of colourful flowers, you are both spoiling and making us jealous, Jeanne! - but please keep them coming.
What wonderful ideas you have, using old crocks and pots to plant things in. I' m looking forward to seeing how you jazz your father's old boots up.
Your "wildflowers" are Sweet William. I just love them, in the garden and also in a vase, I think they fit in any type of garden but especially countriefied ones.

Sweet Williams... ok... I've had my flowers mixed up. Thanks for the info kedigato. I think they are delightful flowers and right now one of my favorites. Actually I planted them last summer and they just now started to bloom. Here's the boots... I planted blue pin cushion in one and a pinkish/maroonish columbine in the other. These were my dad's work boots and my mom was going to toss them .... and I said .... on no you're not. I won't let her throw anything of my dad's away. .j.

What a clever idea with the old boots, Jeanne, and an eye-catcher, too.
Did you leave the plants in little pots or did you put soil in the boots?

Thank you for the idea about the boots. I have some old walking boots I could do something with.

Glad you all enjoyed my dad's boots. Kedi, I filled the boots with soil and planted right into the boots. They are doing well.
A couple more ... not had time to take much lately.
Dandelion
Hopefully I'll get more time to take some pictures....

So pretty. The Silk Tree flowers remind me of the Bombax trees I saw in Florida in the spring, only the ones I saw only had one flower and yours have lots of them.

Thanks guys ...
I love the Silk Tree, but it is pretty messy in the fall. It's beauty in the summer makes it worth it though.

I have not taken many pictures of the garden lately... I've been working in the garden everyday ... but have had the trowel in hand instead of the camera... lol ...
Day Lily, this year .... I need to buy more of these in different colors ... I love them ... I still have a few blooming in the yard. I'm always sad to see them go....
Some older pictures... when I first became interest in taking photos of gardens ... these are with my old camera ... about two years ago
... must take pictures tomorrow ... ;D
