As you will see, I am still not getting the close up thing. I have transformed a huge mess on the patio - having had to leave that while the work in the house continues. I really have tried all sorts of shots on my camera - to no avail. I will post all of them, even the blurry ones, just to show what a mess I make of photography he he! I have rescued some plants from my old house, that nearly died after the building work. Having paving makes it difficult to make much of it, but slowly I will build on potted plants as well as the boarders. Sp prepare yourself for bad pics. Believe me two days ago - this was a complete mess of dying plants, rubbish and all sorts. I am now very tired from all the work. But glad to be back on line properly:

Thanks for the wrap there WF but I am far from an expert, more someone who has had plenty of practice. [It makes perfect you know!] JC try not getting so close to your subject. What kind of camera are you using? Maybe I can offer better advice once I know that. The majority of the shots are fine though, let's face it, most folks only take photographs for forums or personal records anyway Cheers Flash

You've done a wonderful job on the patio, JC.
I just love all those pots, the different heights and styles makes it very pretty against the bamboo background. That is so much nicer than the all-in-the-same-look that some people go for, which I find very boring. Very well done!

Your patio is looking great jc! I really like all the different heights of your planters. The bamboo is a nice touch too, I may have to copy that somewhere in my yard... I think I know just where!

Moving these kedi _ I think this is where you want them? Have so much to do, but since the paving out front, I have nbeen looking at this nasty bare boarder. Hve planted a bit more since. First some heathers which I hope will grpow nice and long and wide:

Staring to fill this space with azailias (sp) a few little carnations and few shrubs: The lawn is my neighbours - the boarder is mine
