Those leaves remind me of the kind that bush people wrap food up in to cook it. What size can they reach?

Think banana leaves are used to wrap food in to cook, DAG. As far as I know, these are not eaten, but the fruit of it is. The one we have in Germany has produced fruit several times but we have never eaten it. Alfie, this is a member of the same family as the Swiss Cheese plant - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monstera_deliciosa From having a quick look at this link, it appears that the leaves can get much bigger than I mentioned above. I never fail to be impressed when I see such plants (house plants for us in Europe) climbing up trees and telephone poles and looking so much better than our pampered ones at home. I've just uploaded another couple of the pics of it so you can see for yourselves just how big they can get.
