dried lentils, peas or the like when cooking or they won't get tender. Add salt afterwards before serving.

Easier said than done, HC, things taste so tasteless without salt! However, I have cut back a lot because of Hubby's high BP, but it takes getting used to. I have also bought him this reduced salt.

I must admit food doesnt taste nice without salt especially potatoes ..  we try not to use much but have to have some.. |
