My Azaleas and Christmas Cactus blooming in the unheated Baffa (outdoor living room). Sis, I don't think I told you, there are deciduous and evergreen Azaleas.

Lovely flowers, I think the tinged one in the second pic is beautiful.
Yes, you did tell me that there are deciduous and evergreen Azaleas, Sis. I only know the deciduous ones over here, perhaps because they are garden ones and all do loose their leaves in the autumn. You can get potted ones for in the house and they obviously have their leaves, but I think if you then plant them outside, they either get killed off during the winter, or, if they survive, loose their leaves.
Strange, I've had potted ones over the years but always kept them in a cool place indoors, never thought to plant them out.

What a delight Victoria. I have a load of cuttings from my Christmas Cactus in the heated propagator which are looking encouraging at the moment. The parent plant suffered a bit from cold during the last cold spell we had. I guess it got a tad to cold in the conservatory for it. Mother plant is a bit old and woody but just survived. Fingers crossed for some new plants to flourish.
