Yes it is indeed Alfie, I thought you or Robert would probably get it! Back in the 70's a friend at work retired and gave me that old radio, made in 1950 and I kept it up in the loft all these years, meaning to clean it all up and see if it still works but never got around to it and as it is very very dusty inside I don't fancy taking any more photographs although that could be a laugh! Edit: I have since taken the works out of the cabinet to access the situation and just realising the amount of work involved, I shall post up photos in a new thread in our Hobbies Section.

It looks like a very old "Sauzahn", don't know what it is called in English.
It is used like a hoe, something you, DAG, and Peter are fond of using but that I avoid like the plague and find useless. ;D

Agree with kedi basically, actually more like a ploughing attachment than a hoe, designed to break up the soil?

Sorry Kedi and Dag it's not a hoe or for breaking up soil, it's quite large and would have been pulled by a horse
