I was lucky and found 3 spiders today, small but they are the start of this years spiders. I found this one in the Wintergarten - This one upstairs but he looks half dead - I think I unfortunately injured this one when I moved him to a better spot to photograph -

After Hubby moved the plants out of the Wintergarten for the summer, I started to clean the windows on the inside and found this wonderful spider. I think it is a Wolf Spider -

Thanks DAG. Here are a couple more, taken today. This spider had just caught a bee and was busy wrapping it up for a future meal. Taken from inside the house with the window open - The same spider and victim, taken from outside and Mr K holding a sheet of white paper behind it -

Gives me the shivers seing them on your hand. But I love to have them in my appartment. Depends on he size. Norrmally spiders run away from human's (hands). How comes it stayed with you?

Hi Iska, lovely to see you again, hope you have been keeping well.
Perhaps the reason the spiders don't run away from me is because they sense that I will not hurt them.

Thanks Kedigato, yes, I am fine, but there is an awful lot of work around me. I hardly have time to put on the computer for fun. Mostly it was work reasons only. But it is getting better an I hope to be able to pop in more often again soon.

I found this fairly large spider in the garage the other day. It wasn't until I looked at the pics on the PC that I realized it was carrying all of its babies around with it -

Those are great pictures! I have to admit that I about hyperventilated when I saw the ones on your hand. I have a totally unreasonable and consuming fear of spiders. I will look at them outside and even take pictures of them. But if they come near me, I will run. I know it is totally rediculous. I know its not rational but who ever said the workings of the human mind were rational.
