Sungold tomatoes are now potted up into 5 inch pots for now, and big clearance on this bench to other side of greenhouse. Some of my Lettuce leaves will be picked tomorrow so that they will regrow. Have picked more radishes. Peach treelets doing really well, carrots coming on, and Swiss Chard now potted up into 5 inch pots at far left.

Everything is looking great, DAG.
A silly question - do you pick the outer leaves of the lettuce and then they regrow? Or did you mean that you cut the lettuce head and new leaves grow from the stalk bit that remains in the soil?

You hold the plant so as not to up-root it, and with the other hand just break off a leaf or two from each of the largest plants. It encourages them to regrow and gives you a continuous supply for a while, and you are only picking what you need!

Well I picked some of the lettuce for a side salad today, along with some more radishes, and the lettuce tasted good and natural, not like those bitter tasting things from the supermarket!

Well it was all going well until I went on holiday and most of the plants are showing signs of stress!
I have lost the Sungold tomatoes completely as they are hopelessly leggy now! Also one bucket of spinach and bucket of turnips have had it. The Totem toms look ok and the Gartenperle toms are a bit leggy but I have potted them up into their hanging baskets and I think they will be ok.
I am not too sure about the lettuce and carrots as they look rather floppy now.
The peach treelets look fine though and the gherkins and Swiss chard look fine so far.
I should know the score in about a week, fingers crossed!

Oh, what a shame! I hope you can save most of the tomatoes that look OK. I think you sow the lettuce and carrots anew every several weeks, don't you? At least you will have some more of them this season.

Well it has stopped raining at last and the sun has even come out! Have re-potted the Totem tomatoes, 2 to each pot at rear. In front some more radishes started since my holiday and some that survived the holiday! There are also 8 Gherkins plants in 2 tubs and 2 pots on the floor. The original bucket of turnips, which are starting to form up now. I lost the second bucket due to holiday and started another. Also started another bucket of carrots. Had about 4 lots of lettuce pickings so far from cream bowl the second lot of lettuce are nearly ready in the black bowl. Peach treelets are ready for planting out I think? First lot of carrots are starting to form up now. Have already picked some spinach grown in the pots for salad leaves. 10 Gartenperle tomato plants just planted out in hanging baskets and still being hardened off. 5 Swiss Chard plants just planted in a spare cloche. Never grown this before so lets see what happens!

Oh, you have so many things on the go there, DAG, and everything looks great.
I bought some radish seeds to try growing them in bowls like you do, but so far they haven't done anything as they are still in the packet.
I do have some beans and courgettes growing so I am not completely lazy.
I can't believe how well your red peach treelets have done in the few months since they sprouted. Yes, plant them out in the garden now, they look big and healthy enough.

Today's update: Totem tomato plants doing well, some radishes are ready for picking. First gherkin almost ready for picking. Second bowl of lettuce ready for picking now. Turnips will be ready any moment now. Overall view from outside greenhouse. Today I picked some radish, lettuce, spinach and the first few baby carrots to enjoy as part of a fresh raw salad.

Wow! everything grows so quickly in your greenhouse and it looks so delicious, too.
How tall do the gherkin plants grow? Do you intend to pickle them or eat them raw?
I finally sowed the radish and rocket seeds in a planter, after seeing how well you do with them in bowls. Both of them have now sprouted but are still small with just the two baby leaves.
