I think you have done very well with the first one, judged that nicely!
Not sure what you were aiming at with the second image though?

The second one was rather hazy so used it just to try things out and I like the silvery effect on the flower. That's all.

Love the one with the water drops Kedi, I use Picasa to edit most of my photos.

Thanks Alfie. I keep meaning to try out PB again, but automatically go into Picasa and so by the time I do think of it, I've already edited in Picasa.

No, it is NOT a facility to chop things in half. I resized a copy of the original pic to get a half flower, turned it, made another copy and turned it as well. Usual thing. I have been trying for goodness knows how long to get text on to pics that are on the mac. Mac refuses to automatically let Picasa make copies, I have to painfully get them there one by one and then I get asked if Mac will permit Picasa make a copy. Then, and only then, could I edit pics on Picasa - then getting the edited things back on to Mac's iPhoto was often another story. I gave up many times but always went back for another dose of torture again and again. ;D ;D After the recent bout, and more failures, I suddenly managed to get one texted and back into my iPhoto album. Turned out to be quite easy in the end, various D&D's and, by accident, I discovered an iPhoto editing programme - that was here all the time if I only knew how to find and use it! Anyway, this chopped flower was a test and I'm thrilled that it now works. That is why I signed both half flowers so it was obvious that it was not just the same pic turned.
