They look delicious, DAG. And although I don't begrudge poor Lilly a few, I'm glad that she left some for you and Arney to enjoy.
I like the way you presented them, reflected in the stainless steel counter. If you haven't eaten them up, put a few leaves with them for another photo, please.

The 6 hanging baskets of Gartenperle tomatoes are coming on, a few will be ripe in a few days I think! I am using my old compost heaps to grow some Butternut Squash and Pumpkin (seeds provided by kedi) and all seem to be growing nicely so far, but I have never grown these before. Vicky's tomato plants are now up to the top of the 6 foot canes and touching the glass roof, so nipped the tops out to give about 6 trusses, hope the weather remains good enough this year to ripen them all, ha ha!

Goodness, the tomatoes are growing like triffids, and the squash and pumpkins look really good. Can't say the same for mine, nor my cousins - all the same seeds. Must be that good well-matured compost.

Just picked these mini-peppers, suitable for patio or greenhouse to try and they are at least equal in taste to the supermarkets ones but rather small of course. We get thro' a lot of peppers so I am now thinking about growing a small forest for next year! ;D

Thank you Alfie and Tamarine............hot peppers? I assume you are talking about chili peppers, I have some of those as well which some are now ready for harvesting and not sure whether to leave them on the plant or pick them and freeze them?

The good news is that the Gartenperle tomatoes in the hanging baskets are still going strong, but the tomatoes in the greenhouse have all split since the holiday and they are not ripening up so I will lose them all!

How about that for a bit of colour on the kitchen window sill, I thought the chili plant in the greenhouse could serve 2 purposes?
