Hi all we moved into our present home in early summer of 2006 after living in our old house for 20 odd years and having a garden how we wanted we upped sticks.

Our 'new' garden was too much trouble for the old gentleman that lived there before us so all the gardens front, back and side were just bumpy grass.

Below are pictures of our back garden.
In the following picture you can just see our garden dragon guarding a bowl of gems.

Here's the work we did this summer the pathway is getting done next year.

I wanted to try and take away the funny shape of the back garden so I added some curves.

Look how well they did only a few months later!

This is my naughty area it was supposed to been decked this year but due to my husband (Bob) not being very well health-wise (he's at the end of stage 4 kidney failure) this area has had to be put of hold for the time being.

This is our side garden all done from scratch in a mad burst of energy last July.

It has a lovely tiny deck area built by Bob with just enough room for two chairs and a little table.Hel.xxx.

I do like the curved flower beds, they look very natural. We have one as well, otherwise all of the others are straight - easier for mowing the lawn.

Your seating areas are nice, bet you enjoy relaxing on them (in the summer of course, not now!) and looking out at all of the accomplished work.

I wonder how you find time to work on your allotment on top of the garden - I reckon you both must be workaholics. ;D

Sorry to hear about Bob. :( Did I read somewhere that he can, and does, help in the garden and allotment?

Looking forward to seeing more pics of your garden - thanks for sharing.

Looks like I'm going to have to get on and do some changes in mine as it was sorely neglected for years due to the hours we worked, but looking at what you've achived it's given me some insperation.

Now I did see something on TV quite some time ago where a man did have one of these large model trains running around his garden. Can't remember where it was though.

If our garden was larger and like helofadigger's, then I would seriously consider having one running round. (I am adding another photo on railway thread.)
