That first bridge is amazing - is it actually to one side or is it just me?

Seeing your bridges, Linda, gives me an idea. You might start another thread called "Bridges" and everyone could put theirs in, any sort or size. Perhaps down in the Hobby section where I started one called "Trucks and Such" for any sort of vehicle.

What is that domed construction sort of behind that big ship?

How fascinating that first pic of the pedestrian bridge is, I think I saw that on tv when it swivelled up, and definitely saw the second bridge and think that is more than 100 years old and swings round horizontally?

The last one, well as a southerner I can boast that I have driven over the Newcastle bridge several times and also visited the Metro Centre that is not far away.

Really good pics of the bridges linda thanks for sharing. :D
