I think it might actually be an azalea, JC.

Whatever, I love the colour of both it and the carnations. I am trying to have all sorts of pink colours on the patio again this year.

I just looked at the tag and it does say Azalea although, in my ancient garden book it says it used to be classed as a rhododendron - you know me, I have no idea! ha ha

I really like carnations. Yours are a lovely deep pink. They always remind me of my grandfathers garden...he had several carnations.
