This guy comes daily to our yard... he gets mad if there is no seed awaiting him......

This guy introduced himself to me at the park. He was quite curious ... wanted to know why I was taking so many pictures of trees and bugs........

Our squirrels are very aggressive and not the least bit shy. The squirrels in my mother-in-law's yard will go up to her screen door and mess with it if she has not put food out for them.

At a local park there was recently a big uproar about squirrels unabashedly going up to picnic and stealing food right out of peoples plates .... they were even climbing up in baby strollers and that is where all the hub-bub stared. There were people who wanted the squirrels trapped and euthanized. Of course many people were against such a plan ... and thank goodness the squirrels won the day!

Fantastic photos, Jeannerene! They are the best squirrel pics we have on ME and the last two have such wonderful detail. Very well done!

We noticed that the squirrels were quite tame down near the beach in Florida recently, looking if anything had been left at the picnic tables and garbage bins. The ones over your way are downright cheeky!

I wouldn't like them coming up to the door and scratching for food, and certainly not getting into the baby buggies! I guess it is our own fault for encouraging them in the first place.
